A user license is a personal license that allows you to participate in an unlimited number of your organization’s internal projects. Anyone with a user license can also be invited to participate in the projects of other organizations, for example an HVAC contractor can invite the electrical contractor to take part in their own project and grant viewing rights to their drawings.
Project license enables inviting users from outside the organization even if they do not have their own paid PlanVera user license.
User license is suitable for companies that have people working in multiple projects and use PlanVera daily.
User licenses also enable sharing information between subcontractors. Users with a user license can be invited to join other organization’s projects, for example an HVAC contractor can invite the electrical contractor to take part in their own project and grant viewing rights to their drawings.
Project license is best suited for projects where you want to share information in PlanVera also to subcontractors, designers, clients or other outside parties that do not have their own personal user licenses, and when you want to consolidate the cost of using PlanVera to one party and purchase order.
Yes. Organizations can use both the user licenses and the project licenses simultaneously as per their need.
For example, during the projects bidding, estimation and planning phase user licenses are used, and once the project progresses to the construction phase a separate project license is purchased so that external parties can be invited to join.
The license can be upgraded to a larger one whenever the needs of the project demand it.
The project license enables inviting the allowed number of users without them having their own paid personal user licenses.
If the project does not have a separate project license, participating in the project is only possible if the user has their own user license.
Yes. User licenses can be subscribed with either monthly or annual billing. User licenses that are billed monthly are best suited for companies that have a varying number of users, whereas the annual subscription allows you to commit until the end of a longer billing period and save on costs.
PlanVera works on your browser and does not require separate installation. Deployment can be done as fast as in just a few minutes.
All the data is stored securely on European servers. PlanVera’s access rights allow controlling access per user or project team, so you get to decide who sees what.
PlanVera’s employees will never log into customer accounts without permission from the customer. The only exceptions are serious security breaches or technical issues, for which we have the responsibility to solve and investigate as per applicable legislation.
Yes. Projects that were opened to outside parties by using a project license can be stored as archived projects with a separate archive license without them being actively used. They will be stored in a “read only” state for all the participants invited to the project.
Licenses are always purchased until the end of the billing period (month or year), and the amount of licenses can be lowered in PlanVera’s Billing and Subscription section. The changes will take effect at the end of the billing period. If you wish to cancel your subscription altogether, please contact [email protected].
